I’m beyond delighted to invite you to a very special evening celebrating the release of my debut album, Where The Heart Roams.
There are moments in a creative life that feel almost unreal. After years of thought, writing, questioning, refining, remembering, and dreaming, my album is stepping into the world - and I can hardly believe it is real! This album is my debut not only as a soprano, but also as a composer. At its centre lies a question that has quietly shaped both my life and my artistry: what does “home” truly mean? Born in Wigan, formed musically in Manchester and beyond, I have long felt the gentle tension between rootedness and movement. The life of an artist is often nomadic - travel, opportunity, reinvention — yet beneath that movement lies something constant: the landscapes, people, memories and voices that anchor us.
This album is my attempt to honour that.

The recital weaves together pastoral-inspired song from British and Irish repertoire alongside new works written for this album - a journey from reflective landscapes to moments of intimacy, warmth and connection.
And because the album is being released on the same day, CDs will be available so you can take home a signed copy after the performance.
